By downloading, accessing, or using the Halal Scanner mobile application (hereinafter referred to as "the App"), you agree to these Terms.
The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the App or attempt to interfere with its operation.
All data processed by the App is stored locally on your device. We do not collect or transmit any personal information or scanned product data to external servers. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
While Halal Scanner aims to provide helpful guidance on whether a product may be halal, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the results. Product ingredients and manufacturing processes can change without notice. We recommend users always perform their own analysis or consult product packaging and the manufacturer directly for confirmation.
The App is intended as a general guidance tool and should not be solely relied upon for dietary or religious decisions.
Halal Scanner offers optional premium features available through auto-renewable subscriptions. Subscriptions and payments are processed securely through the Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store, depending on your device. We do not have access to your payment information. All billing, free trial handling, renewals, and cancellations are managed directly by Google or Apple.
Some subscription plans may include a free trial. Once the trial ends, your chosen subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the trial period expires. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store (for iOS) or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel your subscription.
All refund requests are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device. Halal Scanner cannot issue refunds directly.
If you make in-app purchases through the App Store or Google Play, we may share limited information with Apple or Google via our payment partner, RevenueCat, to help process refund requests. This may include non-personal details about your purchase and how you accessed the purchased content.
By making in-app purchases, you consent to this limited sharing of consumption data with Apple or Google solely for the purpose of processing refund decisions, in compliance with their respective privacy and refund policies.
All content, design, and code within the App is the property of the developer and is protected under applicable copyright laws.
We are not liable for any damages, harm, or dietary consequences arising from the use or misuse of the App, including but not limited to incorrect scan results or product classifications.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes implies your acceptance of the updated terms.
